Designing Your Online Wedding Invitations at www.PrintE-Z.comFirst impressions are always important, especially when it comes to planning your wedding. After you have sent out the engagement party invitations and save the dates, your wedding guests will be waiting for your wedding invitations. That’s why it’s important to properly design wedding invitations – you want them to be your guests’ first look into your wedding planning process.

Here are some tips to help you design your wedding invitations:

Make Them Personal – Wedding invitations are so much more than just ink on paper. When you begin designing yours, start by thinking about the type of wedding you are looking to have. Is your reception going to feature a floral theme? Add decorative flower prints to the sides of your invitation. Are you going to have your wedding at a vineyard? Add silhouettes of wine bottles and grapes along the edges of your invitation’s border. By making your invitations more personal to your wedding, you can keep a consistent theme running and also delight your intended guests.

Include Reply Options – Make sure you have a number of ways your guests can RSVP and choose meal options for your wedding. The internet has made the wedding planning process significantly easier, so be sure to include ways to RSVP online. This, however, does not mean you shouldn’t include a reply card with all of the information you need filled out. Don’t forget a small pre-addressed envelope as well – this way, your guests can simply drop the card in a mailbox.

More Than You Need – Once you have settled up your guest list, count up the number of people you are inviting. If you are inviting 100 people, do not buy only 100 invitations. Buy 125 invitations instead. You may have addressing errors or accidentally tear a few while preparing them to send. Don’t forget this either – although one household gets one invitation, anyone over the age of 18 should receive their own invitation, even if they reside there as well.
