Destination Weddings Factors to Consider at www.PrintE-Z.com

A wedding ceremony is big thing to organize in itself. Not only do you have to manage the butterflies in your stomach about this big decision that you are taking, you also need to ensure that the arrangements of the wedding are proper. And if you have planned a destination wedding, there are additional factors that you need to think about. Here are some things that you need to keep in mind when you have a destination wedding to plan.

Location – The location of the wedding is the first thing that you think about. Everything else moves around the location. Think about the budget when you are deciding on the location. You may also want to give a thought to the ease with which you will be able to manage affairs at the destination.

Wedding date – The wedding date that you choose will impact the budget too. The best time to plan a destination wedding is just before the start of the tourist season or right after. This will ensure that you can wed at a time when the place is not madly crowded while ensuring that the price stays low.

Invites – When you plan a destination wedding, you may not be willing to spend for the travel and stay for all the guests. Make sure that you communicate the same to those that you are not ready to fun. At the same time, you should be willing to appreciate if some guests are unable to make it to the wedding due to time or money constraints.

Dress code – Since you are likely to have a lot of guests travelling, you need to communicate the dress code for all the occasions that you are planning. Make sure that you mention the various events that are taking place, the kind of venue and the dress code for each. It is also advisable to give your guests some indication of the weather for the destination at the time of year in the wedding invite.

Agenda – You will have the responsibility of having wedding guests for the entire day for the few days that you have planned at the resort. Create an agenda for the guests so that they are not at a loss at what to do when there is nothing happening specifically.

Legal requirements – You will need to carry specific documents for the marriage ceremony to take place. If you are planning a wedding in another country, check the rules before you decide on the location. For example, some interfaith marriages are prohibited in Greece. And you might need the documents translated in Italian before you can get married legally.

The reason why destination weddings are becoming popular is because they usually cost lesser as some hotels and resorts have wedding packages. The guest list for a wedding reception at another destination is more intimate and you actually get to enjoy a vacation with extended family and friends. However, you need to keep in mind that you will not know the vendors that are catering to your needs during the wedding. You will also have to think about required vaccinations, passports, proper documentation and residency.
